Youth and Children's Ministries

 

United Methodist Youth Felowship

(UMYF) is a ministry for youth grades 6-12.
Activities include missions projects, Salkehatchie Summer Service, Bible studies, and fun trips.


Kids Connection to Christ 

(KCC) is our weekly ministry for children ages 3-12. It’s a fun night of singing, study, food, and fellowship. Held on Sunday evenings during the school year.



Vacation Bible School

VBS is held every summer allowing children to learn about God in a creative environment. This ministry is one of our biggest outreach ministries of the year.


Cub Scouts

Pack 832 has a proud history of involvement in the life of Philadelphia UMC. In addition to hosting den and pack meetings, our church sponsors several special events for Cub Scouts - including its annual Pinewood Derby! Also, the Pack participates annually in Scouting Sunday - a time to present the pack and its leaders to the entire congregation.
